SUMMARY The 2014 Senior Care Hero Awards ™ celebrates the contributions of the unsung heroes in the senior care industry, including professionals from physicians to caregivers, as well as those committed to seniors outside the health care industry. The awards Gala will again be held at the Grove of Anaheim, and all proceeds will benefit SeniorServ's Meals on Wheels program and other services for at-risk seniors. The website makes extensive use of social media by providing numerous avenues to attract attention and traffic to the site. Last year’s event drew over 550 guests and provided over 18,000 meals to at-risk seniors. This year’s event is expected to exceed that due to its overwhelming positive response.
