Current Proposal OBJECTIVES

Objectives Subbasin Planning: 1) Incorporating remaining IBIS and Subbasin data into an improved data management system; 2) Gathering & developing spatial (GIS) and non- spatial data; 3) Updating and developing wildlife- habitat maps to allow for change detection and finer assessments; 4) Developing advanced query capabilities and decision support tools to organize and understand ecosystem information at the watershed and field level; IBIS

Objectives Subbasin Planning, cont: 5) Coordinate with State, Federal and Tribal organizations to acquire, develop and/or collaborate on data layers pertinent to individual subbasins or ecoprovinces; 6) Coordinate with State, Federal and Tribal organizations at the subbasin- or ecoprovince-level to assist with verifying wildlife-habitat map classifications that are generated; 7) Operate and maintain IBIS (Internet access, user technical support, Web services and DBMS backups); IBIS

(NED) Scope of Work (section 2.4.3)...Develop a regional locator that allows monitoring information as well as other ancillary data sets to be recorded within a subbasin or watershed

IBIS ObjectivesNED: 1) Develop advanced query capabilities & decision support tools including an interactive mapping and visualization application (ELVIS); 2) Develop performance tools like field applications that incorporate data standards, field protocols and GPS (VEMA); and 3) Keep the IBIS DBMS and GIS layers updated with the help of an online peer-review system
