SAMPLE: Thesis: Although both Alfred Lord Tennyson and Robert Southey, authors of “The Charge of the Light Brigade” and “The Battle of Blenheim”, utilize repetition, visual imagery, and dialogue in their poems Southey’s use of these devices creates stronger images, thus creating a more powerful poem.
