Desktop Publishing A leaflet

Requirements Leaflet must fold into four A5 pages. An A5 page is half an A4 page. Must have information on four trips - one in each category - "fun-day out", "half-day", "heritage, "open- air". Must have picture of each destination (don't just have the logo) A little information about each destination Leaflet must contain a schedule for the four days. There must be two questions for each location - this is part of a competition.

Getting Started: 1. Decide on your destinations. Find pictures and summarise information. 2. Print out a design template and make a rough sketch of each of the four pages. Put this design in your green folder. 3. Fill in the sources table - you need to say what website each of your pictures is from - print and put into folder 4. Start up Publisher. Chose Create a BLANK bookfold documentbookfold 5. Say "Yes" to the "Automatically Insert Pages" messages 6. Change the layout to landscape. Do File->Page Setup.

Creating a Bookfold Document:

Finishing the Task: 1. Print out a draft copy. 2. Get some feedback and write some proofs (improvements) onto your draft copy. 3. Make the changes 4. Print out a final copy 5. Print out an evaluation from the website and fill it in. 6. Put the draft, the final copy and the evaluation in your folder
