EARTH'S ROTATION AND REVOLUTION
Presentation transcript:

 SUN- the star around which the earth orbits. The sun is the central body of the solar system it provides the light and energy that sustains.   STAR- a fixed luminous point in the night sky that is a large, remote incandescent body like the sun.

 ROTATION- the action of rotating around an axis or center in the same direction as the earths rotation. The sun doesn’t have any rotation with any other planet

 REVOLUTION-the motion around one body around another.  The sun has no revolution.

 The sun is in the middle of the milky way

 The sun's diameter is miles long  The sun’s radius is miles long

 The sun is yellow and full of gases

 The sun has no rings

 The sun is 5778K degreesF

 The sun is made up of gases

 The sun was made by a cloud which had a bunch of pollution. Once it exploded it left all of theses gases and over time the gases came together and created the sun.

1. How was the sun created? 2. What is the sun made up of? 3. What is the temperature of the sun? 4. How many moons does the sun have? 5. Where is the sun located at? GOOD LUCK!!!!
