Get creative – we need your ideas! School nurses and their teams support school-aged children and young people in school and local communities. Part of their job is to support young carers’ health and wellbeing. We at the School and Public Heath Nurses Association (SAPHNA) are working with the Department of Health to ensure you get support and help at times when you need it most, so we will be training school nurses to be champions for young carers so they can raise awareness of your needs and make sure other staff understand what support you might need. Please send a drawing or a scan of your drawing / design to the address overleaf by 8 th May You will be entered into a competition and may win a fab prize SAPHNA School and Public Health Nurses Association So we can make sure you can identify who these champions for young carers are, we need your help to design a logo for a badge to make these school nurse champions stand out!
