The National Citizen Service The job market and the University admissions process is increasingly competitive….. Could your son or daughter benefit from: Getting a head start? An opportunity to have new experiences? Building their confidence? Some extra UCAS points? Developing new skills: Leadership, Communication, Decision Making & Problem Solving? Making new friends? College Bursaries Did you know that there is financial support available for year olds at College? If your child falls in to any of the following categories please pick up an application form from a member of College staff at the end of the evening: Lives in a household in receipt of mean tested benefits and/or with an income below £27,000 Lives in a household affected by redundancy in the last 12 months Young Parents Young Carers Received Free School Meals in year 11
