The apache Christopher Rhymes, Willow Roberts, and Sofia Psolka

location Two of the Apache groups are called the Lipan and Mascarelo. Lipan can be found in presant day San Antonio, upper Colorado, brazos, and red rivers. Mascarelo can be found around Pecos and brozos rivers

dress The women of the Apache tribe like to pierce their ears. They also wore copper and soled jewerly. In the summer they wore skirts. In the winter they wore leggings, moccasins, shirts, and ponchos.

How they lived The apaches lived by hunting deer for cloth. Also buffolo was the main source of food. Their wild flower is called agave. They used it for cloths and food too.

Homes The poles the apaches used to make homes are called sotlo. They could fit 12 people in one house. They used buffolo skin as bed sheets.

goverment The husband had to listen to their in-laws. Apache structure was to depend on their mother. These family bands were organized under a chief.

Weapons and war The apache used the bow and arrow for weapons in a battle. Their bow strings were made of buffalo sinew. The arrows were made of alays kept dry.

Transportation At first the apache traveled and hunted by foot. Then they carried crops on a carrige with a shaggy dog pulling. After they met the spanish they adopted the horse.

beliefs Apaches believe in gods. They believed that they caused thunder and lightning. They also believed that witches cause bad luck. They are scared of ghost. Shaman had supernatural powers.

summary The apache moved from Canada to the plains of Texas. As hunters they took over the buffalo hide trade. They were very scared of ghost, because the name scared them.
