I by Emmanuel

In schools around the world I learned that some people live in their schools. I learned that some people go to school in boats because they live by a large body of water and the school is across the water. I also found out that some schools start their day off with saying the pledge of allegiance.

In schools around the world another thing that I learned is how schools are the same and how schools are different. Schools are the same because schools teach their students how to read and write and do math and science.

Another way schools are the same is because a lot of schools have after school programs. Schools are different because some schools wear uniform and some schools wear whatever they want. They are also different because school buildings are made out of different things. For example: wood, bricks and even leaves and branches. Some children have their classrooms outside. In every school children learn many things. BACK

My Grandma By Ray’Quan

Last year I remember when my grandma was baking a cake. My grandma got all of the ingredients together. She put water, powder, juice, vinegar, apples, and raisins in a bowl. She mixed all of the ingredients together. Next it was time to put the cake pan in the oven. The Ingredients

Next I ran up stairs and told her that the cake was done. We both ran downstairs. Oh no! I said. The cake was burned. It had baked in the oven for too long. We both forgot that it was in the oven. I felt so bad. When we took the cake out of the oven my grandma decided to throw it away into the garbage can. The Big Mistake

Finally we baked a new cake. This time we were very careful not to leave it in the oven for so long. I helped my grandma add some ingredients. We put sprinkles, frosting and ice cream. Lastly we had a finger dip. It was very good. I had a great time baking a cake with my grandma. The New Cake BACK

You can camp in the summer, fall, and even the winter. You will need your family with you to have lots of fun. You will also need to know how to make a fire.

These are things you can do while camping.

It is not hard to go on an adventure. You need to be safe by making sure you stay with your family. Do not get lost in the forest! Make sure you have a good tent and a good sleeping bag. You do not want to get cold. Also, make sure that you have enough food. These are ways to be safe and have fun during your adventure. BACK

Weather Created by Jayda

Weather is what the air is like outside.

Thunderstorms can be dangerous. They can drop millions of rain drops. If It is too much rain it can cause a flood. A flood is when rain overflows the ground. It can damage lots of things. It can damage cars, houses, and it can hurt people. It can also cause another car to crash into another car.

People can keep safe from storms. You can go to another family members house. People can go to a shelter and hide until the storm is over. They can also hide in the basement if the house is not full of water. Thunderstorms can be very bad. BACK
