Youngstown State University Scholarship Program at YSU has been expanded greatly in the last year, including more scholarships for on-campus housing and Honor’s students The Honor’s program has been expanded and a new Honor’s College was established. YSU LaunchLab, an initiative that combines engineering and art for 3D manufacturing and design, was among the programs highlighted by President Obama at the first White House Maker Faire. YSU received a $365,000 grant from the Department of Defense to purchase a 3D printer that will enhance YSU’s additive manufacturing research and education capabilities.
