DuPage County Radio Steering Committee Announcement Groups – - Talk Groups can be placed in an Announcement Talk Group – When an ATG is initiated, those TG’s will be interupted and receive that transmission. Scan Lists – – Cautions – Conventional vs. Trunked Scan – Try to keep lists minimal Failsoft - each TG requires a failsoft frequency assignment

DuPage County Radio Steering Committee Emergency – Tactical or non-tactical – Tactical will send the emergency on the selected TG, non tactical steers the emergency to a pre- determined TG. Statewide TG – Starcom allows a limited number of Statewide TG’s. Daily operational traffic is not permitted on these TG’s. Mutual Aid – ITTF Recommended Mutual Aid TG’s and Conventional resources
