FIRST NET  Comprised of:  Public safety communications specialists  Nationwide, regional, rural cell carriers  Subscriber manufacturers  Mission: “insure the construction of a nationwide, interoperable public safety network”  Public Safety Advisory Committee (PSAC) formed 2013 representing all disciplines of public safety

FIRST NET  Leverages regional core systems  Cellular broadband based systems  Priority access* to public safety  Transmission of video, data, etc…  Mission critical radio (future)
