WHAT IS LEPROSY?!? -It is a contagious disease that affects the skin, mucous membranes, and nerves, causing discoloration and lumps on the skin and, in severe cases, disfigurement and deformities. Leprosy is now mainly confined to tropical Africa and Asia. - It is classified as a bacteria (Mycobacterium leprae)

SYMPTOMS  The disease manly affects the nerves, skin, and mucous membrane. It may take 2-10 years for the symptoms to show, the bacteria grows very slowly.

HOW IT IS SPREAD -It can spread through the nose and sometimes open skin. ( person to person nasal droplets) -Armadillo
