My Mission & Philosophy

Living a life of service and demonstrating to others Christ’s love to them

Elements of My Mission A life of service requires practicing selflessness and humility. I must be able to always put others first in order to demonstrate Christ’s love for others Living a life of service and selflessness is pointless unless I give God the glory for my accomplishments. To others, I must be a channel of Christ’s love.

What it Means I want to be genuine and honest in all my encounters with people; not being two-faced, but having integrity of action and commitment. I want to be an authentic leader: “…exhibit genuine leadership, [and] lead from conviction…”

What it Means As the book says, when working with others, I want to make others feel important and include all people; allowing them to employ their unique skills for the benefit of the team. Perhaps, If all leaders were as selfless, as Christ, their would be less leaders in the news for making bad decisions. Is it possible for a team to function perfectly in the way it was designed to?

Conclusion My mission is to serve God in whatever way he calls me to. I must be open to hearing his will and when he reveals it to me, have to personal resolve to obey. I will strive to live a life of service by developing a humble, selfless attitude.
