Our intent is to improve our event delivery and to use local vendors and comply with the State recommended best practice The state provided us a list of many other Cities within NE and Central Florida who also have state license. Several examples are parks designations as Civic Centers. (Attachment) (need to see these) Rationale:

State requires City’s designation of a Civic Center via City Ordinance Apply for Annual Consumption License with Civic Center designation $250 Permit required by State per event to sell - $25 (max of 15 annually) State License Process as outlined by the State of Florida Statutes Therefore $250 + (3 events X $25) = $325 annually vs. $1,550 for an unlimited retail license
