“I am positive my life would be much more dull without the hundreds of little pushes from Project Success’ in- class seminars, college readiness events and theatre opportunities.” -Former Project SUCCESS Student “I am positive my life would be much more dull without the hundreds of little pushes from Project Success’ in- class seminars, college readiness events and theatre opportunities.” -Former Project SUCCESS Student

DREAM, PLAN, SUCCEED. Tips for building effective relationships: The long game…consistency. Always show care and love. No ego…it is not about you. Find the joy and fun…this should be fun! Asking more questions…giving less answers. Empowering the student to do most of the work themselves. Take the time to know yourself. Practice!

DREAM, PLAN, SUCCEED. I never assume a student: won’t like me or doesn’t want to talk to me. automatically respects or trusts me because I am an adult. knows that I care. won’t talk about it because their not talking. wants my opinion or wants me to share what I would do.

“ [Project SUCCESS] not only gave me my first experience in theater, it helped me believe I can do whatever I put my mind to. Not only that but I built connections with the staff and facilitators that have lasted me 7+ years. I really love Project SUCCESS.” -Current Project SUCCESS Student
