Prayer Points: Nov 13-19

Pray for migrant women coming from around Latin America to Mexico: “You hear activists talking about women who take birth control before they go through immigration because they’re assuming they’re going to be raped,” reported an advocate for Amnesty USA. “For He has not despised or disdained the suffering of the afflicted one; He has not hidden His face from him but has listened to his cry for help.” Psalm 22:24

As the civil war continues in Syria, the Syrian people need our prayers. Many are feeling lost with no place to go. Pray for those that have escaped to Turkey, Lebanon and Jordan. Pray for those displaced in their own country. Pray for them to have food, shelter and, as winter draws near, warm clothing. (Mary) gave birth to her firstborn, a son. She wrapped him in cloths and placed him in a manger, because there was no guest room available for them. Luke 2:7

Praise God for the remarkable growth in a rural Cambodian village through the work of a MTI (Mercy Team International) center that started in Pray that God will multiply their efforts so more churches will be planted in the region. And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28

Pray for contacts and friends who are so close to salvation in Christ. Pray that the remaining hurdles and hindrances be swept aside. Pray for courage. Pray that questions will be answered well. Pray that the Holy Spirit will bring revelation and understanding into their lives. "But when the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all truth" John 16:13

15-18 November saw artists and creatives gather in North African sharing experiences in ministry through the arts, encouraging to use creative gifts in evangelism. Pray for creativity to flow and that the Holy Spirit will bring inspiration. And the Lord will be King over all the earth. On that day there will be one Lord- His name alone will be worshipped. Zech 14:9

Continue to pray for the work of our OM reps around the world promoting the work of the Gospel through OM’s ministry. (hint: WE ARE ALL REPS) One generation shall commend your works to another, and shall declare your mighty acts. Ps.145:4

Pray for the OM mentoring clinic taking part in Central Asia in November. Pray for Jan den Ouden, Rick Hicks and Elke Hanssmann who will facilitate the training and for the participants to take away treasures for real life and ministry. And what you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses entrust to faithful men who will be able to teach others also. 2 Timothy 2:2
