Step 1: Update Student Roster

Your Student Roster TIP: Student names can be submitted to Artsonia via an excel spreadsheet or teachers can manually type in the names to the roster.

Step 2: Get Parent Permission Note: If your school uses a media form, this feature is optional

Parent Permissions: or Print

Step 3: Create, View (or Edit) Exhibits

Create, View (or Edit) Exhibits

Step 4: Submit New Artwork NOTE: FREE Artsonia App makes uploading quick and easy! CLASSROOM MODE walks students through the uploading process! Or Teachers can photograph/submit the artwork for students.

Submit Artwork: Classroom Mode

Artist Statements Students can give visitors a more in-depth look at the artwork by including a personal artist statement. Statements can be added in classroom mode or teachers can manually add them to the students artwork.

Classroom Mode: Teacher Review As students submit entries, you will be notified to review them before they are published. You can make your own corrections to the image and/or artist statement and publish it immediately, or you can send it back to the student for corrections.

Submit Artwork: Teacher Publishes You will photograph the artwork, save it to your computer or jump drive and then browse for files, select and upload the images to Artsonia (up to1,000 at a time).

Submit Artwork: Add Artist Details

Step 5: CONNECT WITH PARENTS! We encourage teachers to keep parents connected via Artsonia! Teachers can add parent addresses to the roster, which means Artsonia will automatically send an when new art is published. Teachers can also print customized take-home slips for parents, giving them an “Activity Report” for the student.

Schools benefit from year ‘round fundraising via Artsonia’s online gift shop!

Fundraising Details Schools earn 20% of all sales generated in the Artsonia gift shop. All funds or a portion of them can be claimed at any time.

Teacher Resource: Lesson Plan Starters

Artsonia: Why Participate? Integrate technology into the classroom Develop multi-cultural understanding Increase parental involvement in their children's education Discover great new lesson plans Join an active, enthusiastic community of art teachers Get the word out about YOUR art program
