WorldED began as a collaboratively developed web site that provides a searchable interface for studying the evaluated education sites sponsored by groups from many countries outside the USA.

WorldED is now sponsored by the Scholarly Communication Center, Rutgers University Libraries. WorldED was initiated and continued by P. Libutti, Ronald Janz developed the reusable platform used in this site development. The initial typology and collection of sites were collaboratively developed by C. Chattoo, L. Haycock, S. Kirven, T. Kuchi, P. Libutti, C. Margulies,L. Murtha, and N. Stowell in Logo: Copyright Patricia O'Brien Libutti.

The impetus for developing WorldED was working with ThinkQuest and the students from 57 countries…
