CONE This pen cap is cone I know it’s a cone because it has one vertice, no edges, and one face. I found this cone in my living room.

SPHERE This musical globe is a sphere I know this is a sphere because it has no vertices, no edges, and no faces. I found this sphere in my bedroom on my knickknack shelf.

CYLINDER This lamp post is a cylinder I know it’s a cylinder because it has no vertices, no edges but it has two faces. I found this outside acrossed from my house.

RECTANGULAR PRISM The bottom of this knickknack is a rectangular prism I know that because the shape has eight vertices, twelve edges, and six faces. I found this rectangular prism in my living room on the t.v. stand.

PARALLEL LINES The rectangles in this door are parallel lines because if they keep on going they will never touch, and I found this door with the parallel lines in it in my kitchen for the back porch.

PENTAGON The sides of this house make a pentagon, because a pentagon is a five sides polygon. I found this on the sides of my neighbors house.

RHOMBUS This floor has a bunch of rhombuses on it, I know that these shapes are rhombuses because all the sides are equal and all four corners are acute angles.

TRIANGLE My cat Wishes ears make a triangle, but not a perfect triangle. This triangle is an isosceles triangle I know that because two sides of the triangle are equal and the other sides is not and the cat I found was laying on my shelf.

CUBE This is a cube that my niece Haleigh made.I know that this 3D shape is a cube because it has six faces, eight vertices, and twelve edges. I found this cube in my dining room.

INTERSECTING LINES This chair has intersecting lines because the lines cross and all for angles are acute angles this was found in my nieces room.
