Quarterly Trainings held throughout Western Washington Campus wide Facilitated by AmeriCorps Members Includes Peer-to-Peer and Peer-to-Youth Mentoring programs The goal of the Mentor and Leadership Training is to cultivate a campus-wide community of mentors, develop practical mentoring skills, and empower students to become better leaders and mentors on campus and throughout the community.

 Stay in your group of three  Your team will be asked to complete 7 obstacles  Take the TWO cloth strips with you from your seats & proceed to foyer  Wait for further instructions

 Safe and fun environment where attendees will understand: communication barriers assumptions that they make when working with others  Example of an effective, highly interactive training activity: building community empowering students to overcome obstacles together  Bridging gap between leadership theory and application
