What is Patient Rights and Responsibilities information? Return

Law that protects patient confidentiality. Meaning employees should only access records with a work-related need-to- know. Code of Conduct pg. 5

Mercy has zero tolerance for disruptive and inappropriate behavior. Disruptive or inappropriate conduct (verbal, non- verbal, physical, etc.) contributes to an unsafe, intimidating, disrespectful environment at work. Behavior at work all falls under this. Code of Conduct pgs. 7-9

Employees who receive a criminal conviction or entry into the Iowa Abuse Registry, post employment start, must inform Mercy within this timeframe or considered a serious misdemeanor for not informing Code of Conduct pg. 10
