Snowball Review Take a sheet of paper. Write some notes to share about the November RC Day’s Training on What’s Different About Teaching Reading to Students Learning English. What did you learn? What did you take away? How has the training impacted your teaching? What questions do you still have?

Heads Together! Brainstorm a list of books you like to use with your ESL students. Include books that connect with content. Include books that make cultural connections. Include books that are of high interest to ESL students. Identify which grade/age. Estimate reading levels for the books.
