To start your encoder, press the button on the front panel. While powering up, the encoder LCD readout will display a series of messages. When System is Ready for operation, the encoder LCD display will alternate between status readouts that are similar to the one’s below: Scottsboro City Schools
Press the assigned button and then the button to start an encoding session using the front panel of your encoder. STREAM ONLY STREAM & RECORD The video detection light illuminates if horizontal video sync is detected on either the S-Video or Composite video input of the encoder. Scottsboro City Schools

You can export your captured video files to an external USB drive. Insert USB Drive into USB port on front panel. Press the button to access the encoder menu. Scottsboro City Schools
Using the and arrow buttons, highlight the Export Files option, and press the button. Then, select the To USB Drive option, and press. The next screen will ask you to select the drive destination and provide a list of active USB drives connect to the encoder. Scottsboro City Schools
Select the USB drive to which you wish to export, and press. Select the source file, and press. Scottsboro City Schools
Once the encoder is finished exporting the file, you can remove drive. Scottsboro City Schools
