English Project: Friend is going to Hong Kong Class: YTM07 Project Members: Yu Tai Lam Fung Wing Yu Liang Ying Jun Keung Man Ling

Our friend is going to come to Hong Kong for a few days. She has never come to Hong Kong before. So we plan a two-days Hong Kong tour for her. We bring her visit Hong Kong's popular place.

1 st day Morning activities

9:00am-1:00pm -Go to Hong Kong Global Geopark of China 1:00pm-2:00pm-have lunch

9:00am--Go to Hong Kong Global Geopark of China  How to get there : by bus(96R) at Diamond hill MTR station.

There are a lot of neat acidic volcanic columns. They are 100m high. So it also call “Mural of natural hexagonal rock columns”.

Hong Kong Global Geopark of China was group into the World geological park on 17 Setember,2011. It is the smallest Global Geopark in the world.

There are many interesting stone, like animal and a hand.

1 st day Lunch

1:00pm~We have seafood in Sai Kung. We have a steamed fish and steamed shrimp.

1 st day Afternoon activities

Afternoon Activities At 2pm, we go to Ladies Market at MongKok.  How to get there Take the mini-bus at Sai Kung and get off at the last stop.

Ladies Market Landmark of Hong Kong Many different kinds of souvenirs for tourists Reasonable price

Nathan Road At 4pm, we walk along Nathan Road to Tsim Sha Tsui.  One of the busiest road in Hong Kong  Different types of shops for shopping

Dinner We go to Aqua at Tsim Sha Tsui for dinner.  Address 29/F, Penthouse, 1 Peking Road, Tsim Sha Tsui

Have one of the world's best view, the Victoria Harbor Aqua

1 st day Evening activities

Evening Activities  How to get there Take the MTR to Central Station, exit at D2. Walk along Theatre Lane and uphill to D'Aguilar Street about 5 minutes. We go to Lan Kwai Fong in Central at 10pm.

Mettopark Hotel Wanchai We back to Mettopark Hotel at 12:00am.  Address 41-49, Hennessy Road, Wanchai, Hong Kong

2 nd day morning activities

8:00 Have a breakfast at Chinese restaurant, Lin Heung Tea House, Central

Siu Mai (Steamed Minced Pork and Shrimp Dumpling) Cheung Fan (Steamed Rice Flour Roll)

Ha Gau (Steamed Shrimp Dumpling) Cha Siu Bau (Steamed Barbecued Pork Bun)

Fried Bread Stick Sweet Potato Congee

11:00PM Take a cable car

12:30PM Go Ching Ng Lam Vegetarian for lunch which is inside of Po Lin Monastery

2 nd day Afternoon activities

1:30 Visit the Po Lin Monastery and Giant Buddha

16:00 Travel Tai Fishing Village Track Chinese White Dolphin

Buy sea ignorant

2 nd day Dinner

5:30 We go to Kau Kee Restaurant A very famous local restaurant which recommend by many magazines.  How to get there Take the MTR to Sheung Wan Station and walk about 5-10 mintues.

We have Flat Rice Noodle with Beef Tenderloin, which is Hong Kong famous food.

Also have Famous Hong Kong local Drink - - Lemon Tea which is a few pieces lemon with Chinese tea - Tea with milk which is a milk with Chinese tea

2 nd day Evening Activities

6:30 We go to The Peak.

We go to The Peak  How to get there : by the tram. - Enjoy the truly experience the beauty of Hong Kong's natural wonder, - it affords a uniquely spectacular perspective of the city.

Looking down from The Peak. - The Peak is a mountain in the southwest Hong Kong Island, - It is the highest mountain on the island. - See spectacular view of the surrounding city skyline, the world-famous Victoria Harbour and Kowloon, -You can find why Hong Kong is “The Pearl of Orient”.

We go to Happy Valley for Horse Racing.  How to get there : Take the MTR to Causeway Bay Station. This is a very famous sport entertainment in Hong Kong.

- Hong Kong racing is very famous in the world, because it holds many international first-class horse racing game. - We watch the exciting racing under the lights at Happy Valley where surrounded by skyscrapers. - And gamble on the exciting horse racing.

Finally, we have a great trip in these two days. In the trip, our friend can see the natural, traditional, local, fashion and exciting side in Hong Kong. We are looking forward to show more thing in the coming trip.
