COREPOINT PROGRESS MEETING 8 – 26 & 27 June 2007 – Newcastle, United Kingdom2 MIRS & CZYC: Context: –MIRS (WP4.7) & CZYC (WP4.8) are part of Work Package 4 (Establish the northwest Europe coastal resource centre). Aims: –provide information about coastal and marine environments of North West Europe for different targets, –use Internet technology > portal websites.

Journalists & Educational: –we will conduct interviews to ask the end-users their requirements. Design: –we use technology provided by University of Aberdeen: Dreamweaver, Php, MySQL Database, Photoshop.

Coastal Zone Youth Club (CZYC): –is a website for accessing educational information (primary, secondary and higher). Children can access the information (including games, videos, gallery, documents).

Websites complement each other: –MIRS, CZYC and CoastWeb have different targets, –there are no conflict with these 3 websites, –we will provide a link to CoastWeb on the home pages.
