AMD Explorer is part of the Advanced Warfare Environment (AWarE) software tool suite developed by the USASMDC/ARSTRAT’s GMD Prototyping and Experimentation Division. The DSCA variant to the AMD Explorer capability exposes and distributes data and provides services at enterprise, desktop, and mobile user levels. Net-Centric capabilities include track services (e.g., Blue Force Tracking via U.S. Northern Command), collaboration & planning tool exposure, analysis, mapping services, and interoperability gained through migration away from a “box system” approach to a web services approach.
