JUSTIFICATION verse: Now that we have been JUSTIFIED by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. (Romans 5:1) God REGARDS you as just (innocent) It is “JUST AS IF” you had never sinned

SANCTIFICATION verse This is the will of God, your SANCTIFICATION, that you abstain from sexual impurity … (1 Thessalonians 5:17)

SANCTIFICATION meaning SANCT means hold. Holy means “set apart from evil, for God’s use.” Althoiugh yiou are not very holy, God keeps changing you wo you act more and more like His child. That “changing” is sanctification.

God loves you … Just the way you are (JUSTIFICATION). But … God loves you so much that He doesn’t LEAVE you the way you are …. He changes you (SANCTIFICATION) This power point is about SANCTIFICATION.

The process of Sanctification As soon as we become aware of sin, we ask for forgiveness, and ask God to keep changing us, to strengthen our new life. We do NOT make excuses We do NOT put it off We do NOT despair
