Our Mission  “The mission of the Sanilac County Science and Mathematics Center is to provide leadership, programs, and services to improve interest, involvement, and achievement in mathematics, science and technology.”

Our Demographics  DEMOGRAPHICS  The SCSMC is located in a 1,000 square mile area in the Thumb of Michigan. Sanilac County is geographically the largest county in the lower peninsula.  The SCSMC is a member of the Michigan Mathematics and Science Centers Network and the National Consortium for Specialized Secondary Schools of Mathematics, Science and Technology.
