Third Grade FYI Night Second Semester

Multiplication  Multiplication Test Order- 5, 2, 3, 4, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12  Students should be able to recite multiplication facts 0-12 in no more than 4 minutes.  Students who have truly mastered the multiplication facts can say them in less than 3 minutes.  Practice facts nightly. Students must have the facts memorized by the end of the year.  Multiplication Test Order- 5, 2, 3, 4, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12  Students should be able to recite multiplication facts 0-12 in no more than 4 minutes.  Students who have truly mastered the multiplication facts can say them in less than 3 minutes.  Practice facts nightly. Students must have the facts memorized by the end of the year.

Multiplication Third graders will be using multiplication daily in school. If they do not have these facts memorized, they will be behind when they enter fourth grade.

FOLLOWING DIRECTIONS We are really working on the 3 rd graders reading directions and following them. This is an important skill that needs to be addressed in all subject areas. When completing tasks, points will be taken off for students not following written and verbal directions.
