Bill of Rights Contains ten amendments that protects the natural rights of liberty and property. Including freedom of speech, free press, free assembly, and free association in federal criminal cases. Amendments The first ten amendments of which are known collectively as the Bill of Rights set the laws that we abide by.

Term for the first ten amendments to the United States Constitution. These amendments limit the federal government's powers, protecting the rights of the people. Prevents the congress from abridging freedom of speech, freedom of the press, freedom of assembly, freedom of religious worship, and the right to bear arms, cruel and unusual punishment.
