6 EH&S Categories A good EH&S program addresses:  Hazards - those things with the potential to cause harm from what we do or that we’re exposed to  ‘Risk’, includes of the likelihood of the hazardous event taking place.  If there’s no likelihood of this hazard being realized, there’s no risk.  Risks can be prioritized by ranking both the nature of the potential harm and, the likelihood of the hazardous event occurring.
