GSC11 – Joint GTSC/GRSC ITU-T Review of GSC-10 Resolution #9: o Recognizes the need for global standards, the extension of RFID applications in a wide range of areas (B2C, B2B), the importance of networking capabilities to support these (NRFID), that security and privacy are becoming key issues for a large deployment of RFID. o Resolves to promote strong and effective collaboration among PSOs in the development of global compatible standards, to work electronically via the Task Group as specified in GSC-9/7. o Progress report: ITU-T is not aware of any activity of the Task Group.
