 Injuries are the leading cause of death and disability in the US for people between ages of one and 44-years-old, affecting everyone regardless of race, sex, or economic status.  The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention state that unintentional injuries are the leading cause of death in all children ages 1-21!

Before anyone ever takes a puff, a hit, or a drink, there is a decision made – a healthy or an unhealthy decision. Sometimes making the healthy choice is hard because you may be stressed, angry, or pressured. However, learning the facts about drugs and alcohol can help you make informed decisions about your health. In this section you'll learn about tobacco, drugs, and alcohol and how they affect the body and mind.

 Mental or emotional health refers to your overall psychological well-being. It includes the way you feel about yourself, the quality of your relationships, and your ability to manage your feelings and deal with difficulties.  People who are emotionally and mentally healthy have the tools for coping with difficult situations and maintaining a positive outlook  Social Health is your ability to get along with other.
