Rhyming is a word agreeing with another in terminal sound. Poems usually rhyme.

Cat rhymes with hat. You can hear how the sounds correspond. Cat in the Hat by Dr.Seuss have a lot of rhyming words. Can you name some rhyming words from our Dr. Seuss books?

 Poetry is rhythmical composition that can be written or spoken.  Poems use rhythm to make up poetry.

From Green Eggs and Ham- I do not like them in a box. I do not like them with a fox. Fox and box are the corresponding sounds. I do not like them in a house. I do not like them with a mouse. House and mouse are the corresponding sounds. The corresponding sounds can be recognized because they have rhythm to them!
