The Holocaust Presented by Andrew McMahan and Emmett Hale

Thesis Statement The invasion of Poland started the Second World War

So it begins…. WWII started when Hitler sent Nazi troops over to Poland. Not a single shot fired.

Who declared war first? Great Britain and France declared war after the invasion of Poland was known.

When did the U.S. get involved? The U.S. got involved after the Japanese bombed Peal Harbor on Dec. 7, boats were sunk, including the USS Arizona, the U.S.’s prized battleship

Conclusion What was the inciting event to start WWII? Poland was invaded in 1939 by the Nazi Germans.
