E.g. When you tackle a player in football. In an indirectly competitive activity. In an indirectly competitive activity you do not have any direct contact with the opposition. However you are trying to out perform them.. E.g.. E.g. 100m sprint – you look to defeat the opposition by running faster than them.. A A non competitive activity is something your participate in for your own pleasure rather than against other people. E.g.. E.g. Hill walking or rock climbing.

This is usually when a result is counted, timed or measured. For example: The number of goals scored in hockey The time swam in a 50m sprint swim The distance jumped by a high jump competitor Subjective scoring - This occurs is based on other peoples opinions. Judges will grade the performance out of a possible maximum mark.
