The IT game By Zahra, Hewan and Jiawen

What is IT The it game is a version of the playground game when someone who has “it” has to chase and “tag” the other members of the game. This version of “it” is aversion that could be used by anyone who has downloaded the app

How does it work? The players have to join up with a group of friends and all the players must have the app download. The players have to sync their phones together by opening the app and connecting the phones via from the app. Once this is done you begin the game. To choose the “it” player there is a spinner with names around the board simply shake the phone and the “it” person will be chosen. the game works by using a GPS tracker.

How does it work (cont.)? The person who is it will know where the other players are using the GPS but the players are constantly moving so it will include lots of exercise. If the players are constantly moving its harder for the “it” person to find them. Once the “it” person has tagged another player that player will be “it” and will have tag another player. Other players will not know who is “it” so they cant trust anyone only the “it“ person knows that they are it

levels Levels are made harder by distance you have to be a certain way away (e.g.7 meters) these distances vary on levels that are chosen. There are 3 levels beginner, medium and intermediate.

Multiplayer This game will have a multiplayer aspect of it, which will cost £0.99/$0.99. it will be an upgrade off the original game. With an upgrade you get tools to help such as hints e.g. “Tesco Express”, an alarm that goes of if the person who is “it” is within 7 meters of you.

Aim The aim of the game is to get to the top of your county's leader board,once you have got the top 15 you CAN (optional) compete to get in to the top 10 of your region (e.g. southwest England)if you get into the top 15 you compete with other regions if you are in the top 10 the best players in the country can (optional) compete in a competion. The winner will be appointed as the best player in the country and they will also get a chance to meet the app owners. This aspect will only be available to the UK, but could possibly be expanded in the future.
