Empress Norell attempts to save the Roman Empire Do you have what it takes to help her?

The Roman Empire is prospering. You, (Empress Norell), have conquered a number of different territories. These conquered territories are called provinces. You have a decision to make about what to do with the provinces that you rule. Do you: 1)Allow the individuals in the provinces to continue living and working as usual? (Although you do appoint a governor to make sure that Roman law is followed) OR 2)Insist that all males in the province join the Roman army and all people pray to Roman gods? For 1, press here For 2, press here

A wise choice Empress Norell! You have allowed the people in the provinces to continue living as usual. This was a good choice because it means that you can trade goods with the provinces and do not need to worry about being attacked, since the provinces provide a buffer between you and the dangerous barbarians. But your wise decision-making skills are once again needed. Click on the picture of vegetables to find out what the problem is

An interesting choice Empress Norell… You may have made some enemies by forcing the people in the provinces to join the Roman army against their will. Also, by forcing them to pray to Roman gods, you are not showing tolerance and respect for their own beliefs. Hopefully they do not attack you at a later date! But it is not too late to prove that you are a wise Emperess. Click on the picture of Roman coins to prove that you deserve to continue leading the Empire and that you have what it takes to prevent it from “falling”. To go back to the provinces to show the people that you are a benevolent emperess, click on the map.
