Diana is the goddess of the hunt, the moon, and birthing Diana is the goddess of the hunt, the moon, and birthing. She is a strong and powerful goddess.

Diana’s Family and Relationships Father: Jupiter Mother: Latona Spouse: None Siblings: Apollo

Her Interesting Aspects Diana, being associated with animals and woodland, had the curious ability to talk and control all animals. She was one of the three main goddesses who swore never to marry. (Her, Minerva, and Vesta) Her brother, (Apollo), is the god of the sun, while she is the goddess of the moon. Oak groves were especially sacred to her. She was a virgin.

Diana’s Birth According mythology, Diana and Apollo, her twin brother, were both born on the island of Delos, to Jupiter and Latona, their parents. Latona (mother) Apollo (son) Diana (daughter)

Diana vs. Artemis Artemis was the Greek goddess of the hunt, wild animals, wilderness, childbirth, virginity and protector of young girls, and bringing and relieving disease in women. Diana was the Roman goddess of the hunt, the moon, and birthing.
