Action Plan Israel “ Secure nutrition ”

Optimal nutrition for all Consensus conference with stakeholder under the auspices of MOH National program (National institute for Health) that could also financially support (part of the Health taxes) Official launch during a large meeting with presence and signature of minister of Health: Nutrition as a major component of health life Working plan for convincing the main HMO (Clalit) which is devoted to good health for the people of Israel. Program for the next 5 years. Other HMOs will follow.

Take a PR company to find the right message for stakeholders as well as for general population. MNI support. Aim to EU standards, process and parameters. MOH and HMOs will feel it is a must

Education to medical, nursing and pharmacist staff using computerized tutorial in each hospital (every 5 years to be reviewed) and specific LLL. Conditions to practice! Family physicians and community health professional: LLL valid for 5 years. Measurable! Quality indicators (procedure and outcome) in the community and in the hospital. Quality patient care-Readmission-Hospital acquired conditions can be KPIs

On going and to be reinforced Screening and assessment already available in the accreditation process and the computerized information systems Nutrition Day at larger scale. Nutrition status and program in the discharge letter. Assessed as quality indicator Continuity of care Secure Nutrition is the main message
