The Conference of European Churches and the Churches' Commission for Migrants in Europe, endorsed planning, launching and implementation of a joint year European churches responding to migration 2010

The MIRACLE project (Models of Integration through Religion, Activation, Cultural Learning and Exchange) d evelops models of integration between migrants and host society through religious and cultural learning and exchange as well as activation and strengthening of migrant participation. It encourages a process of integration, which involves and changes both newly arrived and hosting society. Participants are Churches and Christian communities in 5-6 countries, other faith-based groups (e.g. Muslim and Jewish), political actors, NGOs
