SE1 Timetable – things to consider Identify key groups Plan for meetings to attend Balance Impact on students/pupils Prior experience Other staff to work with

Subject knowledge Preparing trainees for teaching your curriculum Where can they find the syllabus/schemes of work? Provide them with a revision guide Subject knowledge audit?

Supporting the trainees Make yourself available – especially in the early days Support other teachers working with them – expectations! Plan that weekly meeting and stick to it Coaching vs mentoring – tone of conversation Lead by example!
