Location Tokyo is the capital and largest city of Japan, and is one of the 47 prefectures of Japan. It is located on the eastern side of the main island called Honshu. Click on the map for more information or On “Back” to return to the main menu Location Back

Climate The Average temperature in Tokyo is 16°C. August is the hottest month and January the coldest. There's about 20°C difference between summer and winter. History Tokyo has a long history from a fishing village to the capital of Japan to a world economic power. World War II had a great impact on the city as much need to be rebuilt.
