VOTING SYSTEM CERTIFICATIONS

As part of the certification requirements, the State Board of Elections shall address the mandatory terms of the contract for the purchase of the voting system and the maintenance and training related to that voting system.

Voting System Certification Steps 1 SBOE staff prepares documented certification program with the help of a EAC testing lab and legal counsel 2 State Board Members review and approve certification program (including performance bond). 3 SBOE staff uses certification standards to evaluate pending requests for certification and prepares report for State Board Members: 4 State Board reviews staff report and advises staff of next steps
