This is the house that the lords lived in. They owned the property in which the house was on.

This is the Lord of a manor. They usually had a dog to help guard them.

The term “knight” comes from the Anglo Saxon name for a boy named: “Cniht” The effectiveness of a knight depended on his abilty to stay mounted on his horse during combat

Medieval Serfs were peasants who worked his lords’ land and paid him certain dues in return for the land, the possession of which is heritable.
