The Research Department The Correctional Service of Norway Staff Academy The Research Department The Research Department at the Academy carries out research on correction and the execution of sentences In cooperation with the service, government partners, universities/university colleges and research institutions, the aim is to produce and publish knowledge of high quality This knowledge will contribute to professional vocational education and practice in the Correctional Service and to solve criminal policy challenges The department has a social scientific profile and consists of: one research manager, three associate professors, one senior lecturer, one researcher and one scholarship holder.
