 Most junior middle school students like eating all kinds of delicious food. But they may be picky eaters. So they must be interested in today’s topic -----food. They can talk about their different lifestyles, share different opinions about food.

 Senior Ss have already mastered some English knowledge, and they also have some social experiences related to our topic

 The topic of this unit is food.Through the learning of this unit,students are able to talk about their likes and dislikes, how to keep fit and healthy freely. It also give students some advice to live a better life.

 Key points:  To know about what is a healthy life To recognize names of different food  To talk about likes and dislikes with regard to food  To use adjectives to describe different tastes  To choose suitable sports to keep in health

 Difficult points :  To recognize and use countable and uncountable nouns  To make a balanced diet for oneself  To learn about the relationship between diet and overall health  To recognize and use the indefinite articles to talk about things that are countable.
