 POVERTY  REFERS TO NOT BEING ABLE TO AFFORD BASIC HUMAN NEEDS.  COMMON EFFECTS ARE HOMELESS, HUNGER, DISEASES & LACK OF BASIC HYGIENE.  GENDER IMBALANCE  WHEN WOMEN ARE STILL AT THE DISADVANTAGE WHEN COMPARED TO MEN.

 LIFE STYLE DISEASE  DISEASES CAUSED BY THE WAY WE LIVE OUR LIVES.  IN SA COMMON DISEASES ARE:  HYPERTENSION (HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE  HEART DISEASE  DIABETES  AIDS  SEXUALLY TRANSMITTED INFECTIONS  COMMON CANCERS

 CANCER A DISEASE CAUSED BY UNCONTROLLED GROWTH F ABNORML CELLS IN A PART OF THE BODY.  LUNG CANCER, OVARIAN, SKIN CANCER  THIS CAN BE CALLED A TUMORHYPERTENSION  ILLNESS CAN LEAD TO A STOKE( BLOOD CLOTTY IN THE BRAIN)  IF BLOOD PRESSURE IS NOT CONTROLLED

 FATTY DEPOSIT ON THE INSIDE OF THE VEINS  MAKES THE HEART WORK HARDER TO PUMP BLOOD  CAUSED BY LIFE STYLE CHOICES AND STRESS TUBERCULOSIS  ATTACKS ANY PART OF THE BODY BUT MOSTLY THE LUNGS  OCCURS MAINLY IN OVERCROWDED AREAS, DON’T EAT A HEALTHY DIET,POOR VENTILATION

EATING HABITS  YOU ARE WHAT YOU EAT  HEALTHY DIET FOR YOUR COMPLETE BODY  YOU NEED FUEL, HEALTHIER FOODS  FOOD NOWDAYS CONTAIN TOO MUCH SALT, TOO MUCH SUGAR

 CIGARETTESN CAUSES EMPHYSEMA, LUNG CANCER  GOVERNMENT OUTLAWED SMOKING IN PUBLIC PLACES  WORKPLACES, RESTURANTS, MALLS  SOLD TO 18 AND OLDER

 PEOPLE SAY THERE IS NO TIME TO EXERCISE  HEALTH PROBLEMS CAN LEAD TO HEART DISEASE  IF YOU ARE OVER WEIGHT & INACTIVE, INCREASES YOUR CHANCES OF HEART DISEASE  DANCE, WALK, JOG,AEROBICS, SPORT 30 MIN A DAY  REDUCES STRESS  STRENGHTENS HEART & LUNGS

 LIST OF SUBSTANCE ABUSES IS ENDLESS  MOST COMMON ALCOHOL & DRUGS  OVER THE COUNTER DRUGS  SUCH AS PAIN KILLERS,COUGH MIXTURES,SLEEPING PILLS, DIET PILLS  DAGGA, TIK, ECTASY  USE TO MAKE PEOPLE FEEL BETTER  OVER USE IS CONSIDERED ADDITION  A CRAVING STARTS

 HAVING SEX WITHOUT A CONDOM  ALSO RISKING INFECTIONS  UNSAFE SEX LEADS TO UNWANTED PREGNANCY  ALCOHOL USE ENCOURAGES RISKY BEHAVIOUR, UNSAFE SEX OFTEN THE RESULT  POVERTY MAKES WOMEN ENGAGE IN UNSAFE SEX  IF YOU FEEL YOU HAVE EXPOSED YOURSELF IN AN UNSAFE SITUATION BEST IS TO GET TESTED!!!!
