Professional Teaching Portfolio What and Why? Cumulative assessment for your teacher education degree that shows your mastery of the new teacher standards. Synergizes educational theory and practice. It is a graduation requirement that substitutes for a thesis and/or comprehensive exam. Can be found in GoEd… goed.american.edu “My Portfolio” Please make sure you create a new one and title it appropriately.
